  • Day 01 - Arrival / Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage /Kandy

    After arrival to Sri Lanka you will be greeted by LavinGo Travels representative. Proceed from Airport to Kandy. En route visit the Elephant Sanctuary in Pinnawela, which was built in 1975 for rescued, injured or abused elephants and attracts visitors from all over the world to view these sumptuous animals.
    Today has the largest herd in captivity in the world and offers us an opportunity to see elephants running in this natural environment. You will have a unique and intimate experience to caress and you feed the elephants with a small bottle of milk and appreciate the bond of union with their human foster parents called “eth gowwa”, and enjoy the highest visual event of the day, the bath and experience that an elephant lover would never forget

  • Day 02 – Peradeniya Botanical Garden / Kandy City & Tour / Temple of Tooth Relic / Cultural Show

    After breakfast, proceed to Peradeniya. This romantic piece of land, covering about 59 hectares, was established as the Royal Botanic Gardens in the year 1821
    The gardens of Sri Lanka have a rich history. The beginnings of gardens date back to the 14th century. Peradeniya garden is famous for its rich collection of orchids, which should have been over 300 species.A major expansions of Botanic gardens, was in the 19 century. In the garden was first grown exotic fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea and rubber, which have all become very important products for the domestic economy.
    On completion do a city tour of Kandy. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a World Heritage Site. The name “Kandy” conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
    In the evening witness a “Cultural Show” where each of the energetic dances performed tells its own story to the sound of drums and flutes.

  • Day 03 – Tea plantations & Tea Factory Visit / Colombo City & Shopping Tour

    After breakfast, proceed to Giragama and visit Tea factory & Tea plantation.
    Sri Lanka is one of the world’s largest exporters of tea, hence when venturing into the cool climes of the island one will be surrounded by acres of tea. Tea produced in Sri Lanka has become popularized as the world renowned brew that is known as ‘Ceylon Tea’. A visit to the tea factory and plantations entails a crash course in plucking tea and a tour of the factory to view the process tea goes through.

    Proceed to Colombo City. Proceed with Colombo city & shopping tour.
    Capital of Sri Lanka-Colombo – colorful metropolis, which are interspersed with traces of the colonial past and modern urban bustle. We’ll see Buddhist temple, church Wolvendhal (monument of the reign of the Dutch), Hindu temple, town hall, Cinnamon Gardens – exclusive suburb of the capital where the beautiful villas pokolonialnych is home to several embassies and elite schools, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall ( BMICH) – a gift to Sri Lanka from the People’s Republic of China and more. Also visit Dutch hospital shopping complex, Berry way, new parliament and ground.
