peak in the Knuckles Mountain Range which is Aand and for its strategic vantage points. It is popular among hikers, at a 1,424 m elevation and the hike to the summit is about 2 km long. A biodiversity hotspot, it features a wide range of flora and fauna, many of which are native or endemic to Sri Lanka. The weather is temperate, but in the rainy months of April and then again from September to December, it gets cold.
