LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

• We require certain legal documentation for the marriage ceremony which you need to send to us at least one month before your wedding date. Documents Required- 30 days prior to arrival
• The following documents will be needed:

1. A copy of the birth certificate
2. A copy of the Valid Passport
3. Relevant Legal Documents If Divorced or Widowed (Marital Status)

**Couple Should Stay in Sri Lanka at Minimum 4 days before Wedding Date**

• All documents must be in English in case of foreign nationals and you must have been in Sri Lanka for at least four working days before the wedding can take place to allow time for completion of all paper work. (The Exact length of time may vary). (The marriage certificate with English Translation will be delivered to the couple within 21 working days)
