With its location in the untouched nature of Sri Lanka the Nildiya Pokuna Ella is a perfect place for a tourist who is interested in discovering the untouched beauty of the country. The Aligavamsa which is a waterfall secluded from the world superimposes not only as the entrance to the marvelous Nildiya Pokuna or the “Blue Water Pond” which is found in a cave just adjacent to this.
Getting There
To get to Nildiya Pokuna Ella is not so easy we have to trek a but through a hillock to reach there. It normally starts from Ella, a famous tourism hub that is famous for the beauty of nature and calmness. From Ella, one can go on a journey through the thick forest and the steep land and the sounds one can hear would be the occasional twitter of exotic birds.
The Waterfall
Nildiya Pokuna Ella has quite a drop, and the water rejoices as it flows down the terrain to give a gorgeous sight to behold of flickering water against the greenery.
